Nice ambiance and great food. Clean and good service. This is the rare type of place that has people drinking at the bar and still family friendly. The burgers are fantastic- big and juicy. Their manicotti is great. Only criticism is that the food takes about a half-hour. Well worth the wait. Decent beer selection. ***Update 3 years after I left the review we still love Mcmaes. Mostly the same staff and high quality food. We always start with the amazing southwest salad and split it.

Food was excellent (we had Southwest Mac n cheese and a bacon avocado chicken wrap)! Service by bartender was great and friendly. Fun atmosphere. Will definitely be back for future meals.
I've been here a couple times, the food is always good. But I think what makes this place stand out to me is the level of service. The wait staff is always attentive and constantly come back to check on you, not in an annoying way, but they have it down to a science it seems. They are never pushy and always friendly. It's a great place for you to be able to hang out with a few friends and grab a drink and a good meal.

First time going here went after my grandson's baseball game first thing I noticed was the atmosphere absolutely loved it's like a neighborhood Tavern the service was absolutely phenomenal and to top that was the patty melt that I had I enjoy a good patty melt I've eaten them from the Carolinas all the way up into North home Minnesota it was the absolute best patty melt I have ever had in 30 plus years can't wait for our next adventure back

I had great service. The bartender was very helpful helping me choose what to eat. Very familiar with the menu. It's a local restaurant and bar. Even though I'm not local they made me feel welcomed. The bartender name was Mel. Great person and very helpful.
Finally got to try this place out and the food was great. Mozzarella sticks amazing! Service was good and quick.
The food was excellent! The lady who served us was incredibly kind and patient with my two kids. She went out of her way to accommodate their little requests—my son spotted a purple plate and asked if he could have his food served on it, and she happily made it happen. Five stars for her service! I highly recommend this place.
